GPz750 Upgrades was created by Philsbike
Hi all, I just found this site and it has made my week! I have an '82 GPz750 that is fitted with the GPz750 Turbo engine Anyway I would like to try and make the thing stop a bit better and generally make her a bit better. I need to know if anybody has done something similar? I bought a Zephyr 1100 swing arm which can be made to fit but the rear footrest hangers are too narrow so I have scrapped this idea, so what about the 750 or 550 Zephyrs, are these narrower can anybody tell me??? I would like to use 17" wheels but I need to be careful with ride height, the GPz forks are 800mm long, I think Zephyr forks must be similar? I bought some ZXR750 forks which were 43mm so nice and beefy but these may not be any good without the ZXR wheels but the 5.5 rear rim is too big unless I can find a decent swing arm.
All input is very welcome:)

I would suggest making a decision on which wheel and rear end set up you want then try to find a whole assembly. wheel brakes swing arm and all. for front try and get a whole front end including wheel and brakes and all spacers etc. you can do it with individual parts but, you will be scrounging for the right spacers etc. sound like a cool project.for pegs and controls you can adapt later model rear sets to work.

I am debating whether or not to upgrade mine at all. Right now everything is stock. I thought about a header, but then I have to re-jet. The carb boots are like rock right now, so I would have to replace those in the process. I also heard about the zephyr rear shocks recently and will look into that.
