hey guys my new rear rotor is getting pretty chewed up by what appears to be the caliper mount. I'm pretty sure I have the spacers in the right places and I've checked the rear wheel like three times to make sure it's straight, can't figure it out for the life of me. Any ideas?

have all of these parts been assembled before?
or is this new parts and pieces put together that are not playing nice the first go around?

does that have a caliper like your front wheel with seperate mount or the 1 piece style?

It's a separate mount like the front. I think the slider bolts may be galled up and sticking holding it over.

andy the pins that the pads slide on can get wear spots in them and cause the pads to "not" retract.i pulled mine out and chucked them up in a drill and spun them and used some emery cloth and polished them then you could see the wear (low spots)that were keeping the pads hung out.easy enough to check that out.

Thanks Leon I can't think of anything else it could be either so I guess a good cleaning and lubing of the slider bolts is in order. Now does anybody have any advice on what kind of oil I should run in my bike? :ohmy:
