so your a big cool cafe guy in your neighborhood. or your the "vintage" kawa guy
your all about clean lines and simplicity..
wheres a brother to keep his tool kit?
i have no place on my bike right now...
i feel a little weary about stuffing a screw driver in my jacket... i just see punctures and blood.
reality is my only tool kit is a cell phone.
im in the process of finding/creating......tool kits/locations/products/ideas
give em up road warriors

I keep a tool kit and a set of metric allen heads in a sock on top of my battery. Don't forget a small set of vice grips. (no air box)

Picked up this small bag in the bike department of Canadian tire. Its a schwin bag meant to Velcro on a bicycle but fits well on my grab bar. It will fit under the right side cover with a little modification but I've been too lazy to get around to it. Wrenches, screw drivers, fuses, bulbs, sand paper, small socket wrench and sockets, etc.. I did remove the schwin sticker first thou
I imagine you can find something similar in any Walmart.

I have a mini pump on my bicycle that would be perfect. It is about the size of a AA mini mag light, and can achieve 80psi. The downside is that it moves such a small volume of air that you would be pumping forever. For me, if I think of it, my kit is fold up metric allen wrench set, small crescent wrench, leatherman (gets you a needlenose, phillips, flathead, and a file), but most importantly, debt card, $20 cash and the cell phone. I usually can stuff that under the seat, but I'm far from stock. No airbox and a custom battery box arrangement.
Check your local bicycle shop for some very small, very light weight tools. Here's a few examples:

Take it from me cuz I found
If you leave it then somebody else is bound,
To find that treasure, that moment of pleasure,
When yours, it could have been.

Clean lines are nice, but form follows function in my book. Can anybody say fork bag?
I know it goes against the grain of some, but a socket set, a couple of wrenches, needle nose, vice grips, file, some wire, piece of sheet metal (2"x4"), tin foil, sand paper, electrical tape, flat head, phillips, and some allen wrenches come in REAL handy.
On the way back from Florida one year, my bike had some problems. I checked into a hotel room around 1am, and put some trash bags on the carpet and brought my bike into the hotel room with me. Tore it apart and put it back together by the morning. You should have seen the look on the maids face when I was rolling my bike out of the room in the morning! She looked a bit more than slightly annoyed with me, but as soon as I told her that I put trash bags on the carpet though, she couldn't stop laughing.
