Looks like four good reasons to me.
Lighter by what? 6oz? Two 3/8" thick 8" dia. pieces of steel weigh the same where I live, 100" of chain are roughly the same weight, 10,000# tensile strength is 10,000# tensile strength, cheaper by what $10?, and a stock rear and +/- 1 on the front seems to work for a lot of people. As far as Otto goes, longer life?, fewer adjustments?, better mileage? All things being equal I fail to see how one would outperform the other in these areas.

Generally, if you compare a 530 chain to an equivalent rated 630 chain, you will find that the heavier pins and rollers afforded by the longer pitch will result in a stronger chain construction, and higher tensile strength. In a fixed length of chain, the 630 chain will have fewer pitches, many times resulting in less "set" or "stretch" as the chain wears. The sprockets for a 630 pitch have a matching 3/4" pitch, making the teeth larger, deeper, and stronger at the base of the tooth.

the 530 on the back of my 1327 was closer to 12,000psi,that little bit of weight all ads up when youre spinning that back wheel at 100 plus mph. :laugh:i stand corrected,my 530zzz chain was only rated at 11,000 psi! :woohoo:andy9802gt wrote:

For all the manufacturers, low end chains (cheaper) won't have the same tensile strengths/specifications as the higher end series they offer... Ek for example, compare their cheapest 530 pitch chains to their ZZZ series, ya they can get expensive over the costs of a 630 chain but definitely strong enough for a KZ...
How many gear change possibilities any of us really going to do ya can't accomplish with a 630... Hmmm... :S
As for colors, WTF ya want pink?... Can you get a matching pink rear sprocket now days....
All in all, if it works for ya and you're not adjusting your chain twice a week  , awesome use it....
As for weight, again take a good dump... Same effect...
   You guys kill me
