PJ-1's Fast Black is a good spray paint. If possible, remove the window on the master cylinder so you can bake on the paint. Let it air dry for a day and then use an oven. I bake parts at 300 F for about 50 minutes

Rattle can is what I'm looking for. What gloss should I use with the PJ-1 and should it be the heat paint?

The PJ-1 Fast Black is a semi gloss paint, close in matching the master cylinder original paint color.

I have a MC off of a parts 79 KZ1000 and want to give it a good cleaning. It has a stuck/rusty piston so I'm not even sure if I can get it out or if the bore is good. What would be the best way to clean out the insides that wont damage the window seal.... Brake spray cleaner in a can? I've used distilled vinegar on carbs and it worked great.

I use common inexpensive household rubbing alcohol, with a water sprayer attachment on the plastic bottle.

Good Fortune! :)
