How wide is a 98-99 ZX9 Rear assembly?? was created by ramtough_63
I already know this is a subject done to death however as usual my click finger gets happy on feebay and I buy things and then wonder if it will work.

aftermarket swingarm is 9.25 inches wide at the axle 2"over want to put a 98-99 ZX9 rear wheel with 180 tire can anyone tell me what the width of the assembled wheel is? I like the 00-02 6"wheel also.

Am I gonna need a wider swingarm to accomidate wheel rotor sprocket etc... also I have been told the front sprocket with a similar set up is 3/8 offset and looking through the archives I see 5/8 offset I will probably end up clicking on a 5/8 trying to collect the parts when I can get a deal on em

any guidence in this done to death subject is appreciated

98-99 ZX9 C has 20mm axles front and rear.
00-03 (or so) has 25mm axle on front, and "I think" 25mm axle on rear.

90-93 ZX11C has 20mm axle front and rear
93-01 ZX11D has 25mm axle front and 20mm axle rear.

77-80 KZ1000 has 20mm rear axle
