Hi i have a 1980 z1000 carb model. and was wondering what the chain size is on that and a 76 kz 900. are they 530 chains?

1982 Kz750 w/ inverted gsxr front end. (sold) but forever missed
1980 z1000 cafe project w/76kz900 motor in it
80 kz 1000
81 kz1000
79 Yamaha xs 650
1979 kz 1000 LTD
1977 kz 1000 A
1977 kz 650 C
1978 kz 650

Stock, they were 630. 1 of them if different could have been downsized to 530.

i can find chains ok i was wondering where can you get new sprockets? and what mesh are they?

Good place to find chain and sprockets is www.z1enterprises.com . There is even information on the different chains, sizes, how to get the right sprocket size, etc. If you have any questions, Jeff is more then willing to help you find the right ones for your needs.

1980 LTD (changed over the years), 1979 LTD (being rebuilt), 1977 KZ turbo and various KZ's in various states of build. KLX110

yeah ive looked around on ebay and all that and got all used stuff which is a waste. the teeth and link numbers are not a problem its getting the right spline size i want to get right.
