So I have a set of Raask rearsets, and I love the footpeg position, controls, etc. Here's a pic:

As I said, I love MOST everything about them....but they have no rubber padding to dampen vibration and my feet go a little numb after a short while. Have any of you swapped out the pegs, or figured out some way to put a rubber cover over them? I'm not running them currently because of this issue and would like to figure it out so I can use them again.

it looks as though there may be some rubber covered pegs for them.

i googled "raask rearset with rubber pegs and found this pic".

you could also find some black heater hose that was the right inside dia.and cut it to length and slide it over your pegs.i have done this for handles on custom hammers i have built before.

Hey clutch. Which bike do you run those rearsets? I am looking to get some rearsets for my 82 KZ1000 CSR, but my bikeis not listedon the raask site as an option to order some.

Was wondering which ones you ordered and if they would fit my bike too?

Thanks.

I got mine from Omar:

Mine are the "z750 4-cyl". I don't know if they will fit your model, but he does list a set for the KZ1000 ST, which may fit your bike. Others would know better than I

Just another idea, I couldnt find any rearsets that fit my kz650, so I just made adapter plates out of 1/4" steel. Although this only works if your frame has two bolts for each footpeg. I know some KZ's only have one bolt.

Raask is still up an running and is selling all of their rearsets ever produced, I'm thinking about ordering a set of rearsets for my Z1000J.

Their site: raask.com/ind-eng.htm
