Like a dumb ass I let my ride sit around a little to long. When I drove it yesterday I noticed that the brake pedal went way to far down but still worked. Getting back to my cave and checked the brake fluid and sure enough it was empty. I've been working on bleeding the rear brake all day long and can't get it to take. It's a 1980 KZ 1000. Any help out there would be appreciated.
Thanks

had the same prob on my kz110e spectre, just kept at it for about 30 min of pumping and bleeding before i even got any pressure. if you have an air bubble in your master cyl, it can lock the fluid out sometines

If you ran out of brake fluid, then you are bound to have a leak some where. That's the reason why it won't bleed properly. Is this the golf cart with the KZ motor in it that has the brake issue? Are you using KZ brake parts?

Cool golf cart. how do u keep it from overheating ?
u may have to take off the master and or caliper and turn it to get the air bubbles to the bleader, depending on how u have them mounted in the cart. the air may be getting trapped in a high spot.
