I'm ready to kick off my build, did a littler tinkering today. Sorting parts, checking carbs, going through electrical. Reading up on the differences between the bikes I have. Now the first thing I noticed was the wheel sizes. The front on the kz is a 100/90/19 which is the same on the sr. However the rears are different, the kz is a 100/90/18 and the sr is a 130/90/16. I like the wider tire of the 130 and want to go with that wheel on the kz. Is this doable? Is it a straight swap?
Also, what is the differences in the frame between the kz and sr? The sr seems to me much lower than the kz.
A few other things that will be swapped
1. sr drilled front rotors are going on the kz
2. clubman bars going from sr to kz
3. 4-1 exhaust is going on the kz
Thanks for the help.

I swapped the 18" Enkei for a 16" Enkei on my 750. I even did it for the same reason as you. It was a straight swap. I just had to put the rotor on the 16", and put it on. I even used the sprocket carrier from the 18" with no issues.
As far as the frame difference, the models are usually identical, or very similar from the neck to the beginning of the "sub frame". Take a close look at the front of the "sub frames" and I'll bet you notice the difference.

It's a bit cramped in the garage right now. I have an extra fridge in there right now, and my chicks car. So all that and 3 bikes makes it shitty. I'm anxious to get this kicked off.
