Where to get caliper bolts for a KZ1000?

I'm looking for replacement bolts for a KZ1000 caliper. The bolts that hold the caliper onto the fork.

My bolts are kind of beat up and rusty. I went to the hardware store and if I remember right, the caliper bolts were M10 x 1.25. The hardware store didn't carry them with socket heads. They had regular hex head but the heads were bigger than the stock bolts.

Has anyone replaced their bolts with some nice socket heads? If yes, please let me know a good place to get them.

I got new bolts, washers, and lock washers from Z1Enterprises. Stock ones. They look good.

Also called Z1 Enterprises, they had caliper bolts for Z1's but they said those bolts don't work for KZ1000's.

I will watch e-bay for ZX10, ZX6 and other socket head bolts for sale.

I've dealt with McMaster-Carr before, if you can't find the bolt you're looking for, give them a call. They will definitely have it.

Check out the website, has EVERYTHING you need for KZ's. I bought alot of stuff for my KZ from Jim, he is great source for parts and willing to answer questions.

I bought Honda CBR600 caliper bolts on e-bay, four bolts for about $12 shipped. They're pretty nice, hollow in the center. I cut about half an inch off the end of each bolt and they fit a KZ1000 just fine.

Trick looking, light weight and less expensive than buying new bolts.
