Had my KZ1000J towed home a few weeks ago and was not happy with how they secured my scooter. It was on the kickstand and some 300 pound dude really "cinched" those tiedowns (until I screamed in pain). No noticeable damage, but my bike seems to lean over alot more than it did previously. I usually always use the centerstand so can't remember what the lean was like before. There is also alot of "side-to-side" play in my kickstand. Is that "normal"? I don't rememebr how it was before the "injury". Need to be more perceptive I guess.

I woulf look for a frame crack around the kickstand. I had a frame break in that area once when I had a bike towed. I was off to jail and did not see how th bike was towed.
I would check the bolt on the kickstand to see if it is tight. If the kickstand was sloppy that would be the only cause that I know of. Roy

Mount welds on frame look OK. The play is in the kickstand itself. Bolt is tight. And yep, "off to jail" should make an interesting topic!!!
