I bought the wrong rack... was created by N0NB
Several weeks ago I was pointed to a dutch auction for a rear luggage rack for my 650 SR. Well, I decided to mount it this evening and guess what, it doesn't fit. Fortunately, I got it for the minimum bid.
While the rear tabs do fit the mounting bolts of the taillight, the front holes are about 1/2" foreward of the rear grab bar mounts. Not only that, but the front bars are about 1/2" wider than the frame.
The only identification is the following number stamped on one of the rear tabs, K53020 042. This number is also written on the bag it came in. I have no idea who the manufacturer may have been. If anyone could shed light on this piece I'd appreciate it. With a better ID I'd feel better about placing it in the classifieds.

A couple more notes. The sissy bar is removable and lacks the set screws. I planned on getting a pair of 1/4 x 3/4" long stainless steel bolts for it. Yes, I checked, the thread is indeed SAE 1/4" and not metric.
It also appears that even if it would have mounted, the seat may not have opened or closed once it was in place.
