Hey guys.
I was looking through some pictures of old KZ-model bikes and noticed that the bikes used in the old CHiPs TV show were in fact KZ1000s.
Ive been rackin my brain to find a way to make my old KZ750 mor comfortable on long rides and since the KZ1000P model had floorboards and extended controls, it may not be too difficult to modify the design for a KZ750 since there isnt much difference between the two structurally speaking.
I plan on using the floorboards off a KZ1000P (so its all Kawasaki), but Ill probably need to fabricate the mounting system.
If anyone has a KZ1000P or pictures thereof, I would really appreciate any close-ups you may have of the floorboards, mounting brackets and shift/rear brake lever.

I appreciate the pics, P21. That answered alot of questions.
Im not trying to make a police bike replica out of a 750...just modifying the footboard idea so its more comfortable for a tall guy (im 6'3") with bad knees to ride. May take some "creative engineering".
