This is about where she's at now:
That last shot shows my newer rear sets, and I have since polished the aluminum a lot better. Hope that helps.
I documented everything in my build thread. The link is in my signature if you want to see what I did.[/quote]
I have one of these swingers if anyone is interested in it. PM me...

...hey, look at that, they come pre-blued! Now, that's what I call worth the money.
...just kidding, they are nice..........but.
...on an unlimited budget, they'd be the thing. But, when working close to the bone, they've got to be considered a bit much. Don't you think?

...one, does anyone know what year stock KX650 swingarms will fit a '79 KZ650?
...two, does anyone have a stock '79 swingarm, or one that will fit a '79 KZ650?
...I'm trying to get a jump on things. I have a aluminum swingarm on the way, which I will eventually mount. But, I intend to have the stock swingarm modified and gusseted just for the hell of it. Two choices are better than one. I'll try them both and whichever looks/works better, wins!
...I need another stocker to have modified over the winter, so I can do a quick swap without waiting once I take the original off. I see plenty of them on eBay for 20 to 30 dollars, but if someone here has one, I'd sooner buy from a Member.
...LMK!
