Naiveté in grownups is often charming, but when coupled with vanity, it is indistinguishable from stupidity.
Tis better to remain silent and thought a fool - than to speak up and remove all doubt.
Did ever think that maybe you've been doing it wrong all these years?

Like this?... I have had several made quite easily.. this one is for a 750 Katana. 15T/+5mm off-set. #520 chain.
Front..
Back...
.. edit... here is the rear drive sprocket for the same bike...
Before anodizing...
Just finished and still on the CNC.

I was just toying with the idea of making my own rear sprocket today out of 7075 aluminum. material is quite expensive though, plus it would need typeIII hard anodized afterwards for added wear. Cheaper to just buy one, however I could make a custom pattern if I did my own.

dshelly.. there are at least 6 different arcs that make up the tooth and that's just from the peak of the tooth to the bottom of the valley. Have you ever made one?
The one you see on the CNC is 7075-t6 and hard anodized.
Steve... I'll email you..
