tank swap..how to swap petcocks

how can i get a,
to look like b?

an adapter plate i bought a tank from ebay with one on it search pingel i have seen them but cant remember where other than on the tank i bought

the one i just found on ebay is crazy price but comes with petcock

I Love my Pingal!! The slot in the bottom of the tank needs to be shaped so it will slip in. I used an acorn bit to do this with out alot of burs.

The plate mounts in the stock pets mounting holes. pingal pet can be used.

The benifit of this is no more vaccum, high level of flow.

The negative is it must be shut off every time the bike is.

dont forget to run a fule filter.

I also have a pingel but since I weas repainting the tank I just used a 1in hole saw and cut the stock threaded piece out.drilled another hole about 2 inches further back and rewelded it in.only thing I dont like about mine is there is no reserve.also filled all the other holes in the bottom and drilled a hole dead center of top in front of cap. welded a nut on it and installed a nipple for a vent hose.

so what i ended up doing is drilling a new hole on the other side. I used blind nut rivets to have something for the scres to get into. then i used my dremel with a metal bit to make the oblong hole in the middle..bolts up perfectly...

now i'm trying to find a 16mm cap thread to plug up the other hole and so far to no avail.. i bought a welder, i may get ambitouse and weld a nut into it..
