I ran those for a lot of years: pretty stiff, hard on the lower back. Also, a lot stiffer spring load than OEM for my KZ750. Paying the extra $100 for good shocks is worth it.dano83-1100 wrote: The other option for your rear suspension is a call to JC whitney, they have aftermarket shocks for right around $100 and they will go with OEM specs. They aren't progressive but fo rthe money a good shock with adjustable preload.
