Wondering what all is involved with it ? Was going to do an 810 kit but rather just put a 1000/1100 in and get some extra grunt that way.
Its for my project bike, and yes I can weld, and yes I have access to a VERY good machinist
Just want to know what I'm getting into before I hunt down and buy an Engine

One post a while back with some instructions, but it's been too long to remember.
That's putting a large engine into a 650, which is basically the same size as the 750.
Here's a few:

Only missing the carbs, which are supose to be 34mm CVK's, but I'm thinking if I'm going with the 1100 mill, I should reinvest in some flatslides anyway. Sure wish i HADNT sold my rack of 34mm Mikuni RS's now.

oldskoolatheart wrote: Ok yall.....I need some help. I have a 78 kz650 motorcycle, that I have put a 76' kz900 into. Ive got it all in there but I cant get any spark. I was wandering if anyone could help me out. Ive got power to the coils, but no spark? Also, the harness from the kz900 engine has 3 wires coing from the stator where the 650 harness on the bike has only 2. I was wandering how to hook these up. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
u will get more help if u do a separate post in the electrical section. there r a few gurus here but they wont see your post burried here.
