it has the spoke rims front duel disk and rear drum spoke.
I want mags. so I had a guy who had a 1980 kz750 that would work, well not so
front tire size is the same, but differant fork bottoms wrong size bairing and axle bolt.
I got a rear mag from him also it has the disk and master ( i know i have to make a mount for master)
he gave me the swing arm with it, dont no if that will be a bolt on set up.
SO i no the 78-79 kz650sr has mags and it looks like it has same forks, so will it work for a bolt on
application, will my axle and spacers work from spoke hub, will rear mag work? will I need new axle for rear mag?
IS IT WORTH THE CONVERSION? PLEASE HELP, dont want more wrong parts
Glad to be here thanks JOsh

If I was going to make the switch I would get the swingarm, torque link, rear master cylinder, wheels, etc. from a KZ650-C model. The SR is going to have a 16" rear wheel. One of the members of this site has a nice KZ650-C2 wheels for sale cheap. Double check with him to make sure the rear is 18".

with dyna ignition and has disk front rear, is the 650c a sport model?
he wants 1100 and its clean, iam thinking i buy it switch my 4-1 kirker and all my mods on it, buy a spoked rim and put it back on the 650b sell it and there i go. but i have to shell out 1100
and hold out for a few untill i sell the 650b prob be a eaven swap and i would get bike with mags and disk. Do you think that would be better?
Also my 650b has a 650de motor, I think thats an 80s motor and its stock I havnt ridden it but with the stage 3 pods and kirker it sounds mean and i think will be a little screamer, do you think if i buy his kz650c with the 78 motor and bolt on my kirker-carbs and pods would it be as good as a motor.
and will the kirker bolt right on the 78 motor?
or should i keep drum-duel front disc-spoks and put money into 650b?
i got to buy it tomarrow so help
