Mcdroid wrote: You might want to initiate a dialogue with the footpeg company as Kawasaki did not make a 440 Unitrack nor a GPz440. They did, however, make a GPz400 which was a Unitrack but it resembled the mentioned 550 models in that it was a 4 cylinder motorcycle.
Apologies for going off track... Kawasaki made a GPz400 4-cylinder?!?!?!?

Yes...Kawasaki made a 4 cylinder 400 from 1980 on (400J) and a GPz400 from 1991-1997. And a whole bunch of other 4 cylinder 400 models between those dates. They may still make a 400(4) for all I know. They also produced a 250(4) from 1989 through 1997. As is currently the case (where Europe and other areas get the cool bikes)...all these smaller 4 bangers went to Europe or Asia...not North America.

What did unitrack signify?Mcdroid wrote: You might want to initiate a dialogue with the footpeg company as Kawasaki did not make a 440 Unitrack nor a GPz440. They did, however, make a GPz400 which was a Unitrack but it resembled the mentioned 550 models in that it was a 4 cylinder motorcycle.
I was hoping if they were different models at least the mounts would be the same for these pegs.

ya know, I am not sure if I ordered the wrong shifter or what, but thats how mine ended up haha. I was so confused the first time I rode it.
Warning though, if you are planning on using the kick start it takes some creativity to make it not hit the footpeg.
