I might have just bought a GSXR rear end for my 78 KZ1000 A2. Anyone tried to pull that one off yet and how much of a hassle will this be?

GSXR arms are popular choice for a KZ up-grade. Most like to use the early 90's version but later years have also been used.

1980 LTD (changed over the years), 1979 LTD (being rebuilt), 1977 KZ turbo and various KZ's in various states of build. KLX110

Yep, it's been done. Click the link in my signature line. That's my build thread. BTW I used a 95 GSXR750 swinger.

I'm pretty certain Kawasaki used Testarossa's bike as the target goal when they were coming up with ideas for their retro standard ZRX bikes. :)
