18" rear rim for a 78 KZ 1000 , supplier ? was created by bluej58
I'm re lacing my back wheel and the original rim is driving me crazy with all the imperfections .
Z1E and Red Line only carry rims for 900s and I'm told they have a little different angled holes for some of the nipples but that some guys are still using them for the 1000s with disk brakes.
I'm looking for a supplier if one exists or some reassurance that I can get way with using a 900 after market rim.
thanks, JD

A website I have found but have not done any business with so I can't comment on their practices.

I've got a buchannon SS spoke set, very nice !
If they had rims I'm sure that they would be too.
And probably about what Procycle wants, bummer.
Thanks for the reply's
Brian , AKA kz10006 is setting me up with a wheel from my year with a whole lot less miles on it.
Thanks again Brian
