It'll fit, there was a 150/80 on mine when I got it. I just ordered a new tire and went to a 130 to put more rubber on the road. The 150 made the ass really squirrelly most days and a lot of work to ride.

I have a 140/90-16 on mine. However I haven't rode the bike yet so I don't know what it's like.

I had a dry rotted 140/80 Yokahama when I got the bike, and swapped to a 140/90 Vee Rubber on my 750 to get me until winter. I'm a cruiser so I don't usually see over 60 very often but in the 500 miles I put on it it was just fine.
