Rearsets for 82 KZ1000 CSR?

So I'm looking for rearsets to fit 81-82 KZ1000 CSR (M1-M2) and am having no luck so far.

Anyone with this bike ever put rearsets on before and know where I can find some that will fit?

I tried Omar's rearsets and Fast from the Past and both replied they don't have Tarozzis that will fit my bike.

I have used the Tarozzi's for other bikes, with no "application" for that particular model. The universal Tarozzi's are very good, you just will have to fab up your own brackets. I did this for my 79' Yamaha RD400F. Once I got the rearsets, I made brackets out of 1/2" T6 plate where I wanted the exact position of the pegs:


Then after mounting to the frame, I measured up the linkage I needed, and with another phone call to Jim at Fast From The Past, I had my linkage on the way:


I am currently working on a KZ1000 Police that I am doing a cafe' bike out of, and will probably use the Tarozzi's because I like them so much. I will have to make my own brackets, but I will get exactly what I want.

Do you have a link for the "generic" model Tarozzi rearsets? I didn't realize you could get them that way.

That is awesome! Thanks RLB. Those look great. I was getting a little worried that I wouldn't find anything to fit. I should be able to find a local machinist to fab a bracket for me.

Was just wondering about how much I should expect to be charged for brackets similar to the set RLB made?

Just in case I get some shop locally that wants to overcharge me for the fab work.

The two Aluminum brackets/mounts should be made of 6061 or 7075(specs).
Mock up a shape if possible, and use stiff cardboard to get all the adjustments correct before sending the patern out to the machine shop.
