Frame #

Is there anything that tells about the frame number- how many were made etc?

My sticker says made in 8/77- does this = a '78 bike or a '77?
Frame stamp and sticker are the same with KZ200a-013355 showing. Is this 13,355 bike built that year or???

No, not as far as I know. I think they used a running count so it's not year specific. The Zedder link given is the best info I have seen.

Kawasaki didn't really publish the number built of any specific model, at least I've seen someone else state that.
