Hi all,
I finally started working on the swingarm upgrade. It is a zx6r 03 swing, the pivot part was shortened and special spacers were fabbed to work with the KZ axle( Thanks to Leon Blackbanshee), works perfect. SInce i intend to go with dual shocks, i have a problem fitting the right shock since the rear caliper is in the way.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks

i have a theory that if you were to have a brake are made just like the one you have only backwards the caliper would mount underneath and still be an easy install
Essentially the slot on the other side so it would be upside down when mounted
HEY LEON or LES help me out here I think it will be a good fix!!

I'm sure a local machine shop could hook you up as well
it would be right and servicable.

The Mono ended up a little more involved than I thought it would due to my lack of fab experience. I decided to go with rearsets because in my haste I cut the rear brake boss off to get the swingarm in instead of slowing down and analyzing the situation I had a cut off wheel and got cut crazy lol
all I had was
hand tools a cutoff wheel and a lincoln mig welder did it in my daughters garage.
I looked at a couple posts on here OMR had the most complete step by step so I kind of copied it
LES has a bolt on set up he designed not sure if he is making any the ZX swingarm seems to have less angle than others is why I chose to use the T bar route
not sure how far back in my build thread but I have alot of pictures and more if you need (its toward the end)

Check these out, they are for a duel caliper but I bet u could find one for a single. This would be the route I would go.

Very interesting, i can just use the lower one. The only thing is the problem of the pads hitting each other after a certain wear but no biggie. Very strong rear braking with 4 piston caliper. Thanks.
