Wheel Size Options

Hello,

It has been a long time since I have been on this forum, and around a kz. However certain events have brought me back to my old 1978 kz650 B, which I have had stored away for a few years, and my interest in the critter has been reignited.

I have done a bit of searching and have finally decided to (hopefully) get a definite answer to my question. That being said I was wondering what my options are for the smallest diameter "factory" front wheel for my kz.

I understand I can obtain a 16" rear and retain my drum brake, but wouldn't be against installing a swinger and wheel from a disked kz.

I'd like a 16" front if by the grace of God there is one.

The look I am after is the bobber-esque fat rubber look, if ya know what I mean....

I'd like to avoid unnecessary modifications if at all possible... but will consider any input you may have.

Not positive, but I believe the smallest that came on any Kz was an 18" and it was a mag. But I could be wrong.
