5in Rear Rim on a Kz650? Hoping for a quick answer

I'd appreciate some help, preferably from guys that have done this, here goes.

I'm doing a front & rear end swap on a KZ650 B1, the proposed swingaarm will take a wide tyre but the issue isn't with that. I'd wanted to use a 4.5 in rear & 160 tyre but some rims have came up at very reasonable money, thing is the rear is a 5inch wide rim.

I know i'll have to use an offset front sprocket anyhow but im wondering if the extra 1/2 inch will cause chain clearance issues where the chain passes the frame near the swingarm pivot?, i'll still be using a 160 section tyre.

I'm just hoping for a quick answer cos they ain't gonna sit about long!! Cheers Guys.

well with the 5 in rear wheel you could very well run into frame issues check out the street tracker bastard build in the projects and see how he clearanced his frame
