All the 18" mag wheels from Kz's are too narrow. The widest tire you may be able to squeeze on is a 130 and I think that's pushing it plus then you run into having odd handling issues.

79MKII has his rear mag wheel widened by someone to take a wider tire but if I recall correctly it was VERY expensive.

Kosman gets $595/wheel to widen them. They can do whatever width that you want.

A 190 can be fit onto a 5.5" wide rim but really needs a 6" rim to fit properly. With that being said, you have several choices. You can either buy a sportbike rear rim or if you want you can have your spoked wheel relaced with a wider rim.

I just looked at the Custom Chrome catalog online. I know its for H@rley's but they have a 40-spoke 18"x5.75" rear rim for $149.99 (part #08776). You may have to get custom spokes from Buchanan for another $100 or so. It's not going to be as cheap as getting a sportbike rim but won't be as expensive has a Kosman widened Kz rim either.

Can Kosman widen mag wheels or just spoked wheels?

If it has tits or tires, it'll give you problems!

I think Kosman only widen mag wheels. With the spoke wheels you can just relace a new rim.
