For what application?
Chain size ?
Tire Size ?
15 x 38 should give u plenty of grunt on the street. Do you what to keep the motor from screaming on the freeway ?
I run stock gearing now on the street for good overall performance 15 x 33,
But have run 14x 35, 15 x 35, 14 x 33, and 16x 33 but I dont mind giving up some gear with the kind of power I have on tap. ( I will catch you ! )

79 kz1000 its a 1075 kit. i run a 630 chain. im not wanting it to b screaming real high revs on highway but still have good enough gearing for the track. im also running a 180/50/18 rear tire.

630, or 530?
id stay close to the stock ratio for the street, or you'll be looking for a gas station too often.
i wish we had six gears.

If it were me I would run 15 x 33 or 15 x 35 gearing. Unless there is money at stake in a race I rather keep my bike more streetable for cruising. Im sure your bike makes plenty of power to enjoy yourself without needing racing gearing.

Street fighter ltd how was ur rpms with the 15 an 35 gearing? do u remember by chance?i was thinking of going with that an depending how that was. i could always drop the front to my extra 14 if needed for the track. I've just had alt of guys suggested the 15 an 37/38 for street/strip. they have all told me that would still keep rpms from screaming on highway.
