Good question R 54! I was thinking that also. I had that 77KZ1000 project I sold to a friend
I gave him a flat 5/8" offset 530 size sprocket and an extra cover to mock it up with.
You can only grind about 3/16" off. I would say some collar spacers and longer bolts.
Then you got to get into a longer clutch pushrod. Which the tips are hardened steel.
Probally need some drill rod.
Sure hope someone chimes in and with pictures.
