That is a terrible hack job! The Z is backwards!

looks like they raked the neck and re-stamped it.

i bought a z1 a dz or more years ago that had the frame replaced at a kawasaki dealership and they also had done a hack job putting the numbers back on the replacement frame. not as bad as that thou

Nobody noticed the number's are on the
wrong side of the neck and they go bottom up
not top down and look like the letter's were
stamped with a 1/4" chisel?

to funny. some unsuspecting enthusiast will buy it.


I sent a question to the owner with hopes it would show up on the page

"I was checking out your bike and was wondering if it had been wrecked? The VIN looks to be on the wrong side of the neck and does not seem to be factory stampings"

So what will his response be? I will start

I just bought the bike and have no idea if it is stolen.

I have seen it numerous times to and yours is a fine example of what a restamp should look like. My trailer stamping looks better than that hack job on ebay
