Hay All,

I am getting all the parts gathered to put the old girl back together. I neew new shocks, I see the replicas on Z1 for super cheap - like $100. I am going to guess these are pretty average... Ohlins are great but I dont want to spend +$1000. Are there any good value for money adjustable shocks out there you guys would reccommend? Thanks and Cheers,

I think there are several stock shocks that are good. I have used 650 adjustable shocks and have had fair use out of them.
I have a set off a Nighthawk that greatly improved the ride of my slammed bike. Roy

I have been using Hagons for several years now and I love them. Take a look at the link below. I am using the ones mark #4 in the second picture (near the bottom of the page). Stainless steel bodies and top shrouds and they handle great. Call Dave Quinn and he will set them up to suit your weight, riding style, etc. Ed

Here's how they look on my bike:

I plan on getting Ikon shocks for my race bike. I like the fact that they are rebuildable. I believe I was quoted just under $400 for a pair of the 7610 series plus shipping from California.

These used to be the Koni shocks but were bought and now sold as Ikon.

There's also YSS, but I haven't gotten a quote on those.

Z1Enterprises also carries the Progressive brand. They run right around $300 for shocks with springs.
