KZ1000 wheels was created by HDDAN
I have a 1982 KZ1000 CSR. I have a chance to buy a set of Lester wheels with drilled brake rotors. They are in really nice condition. Is there any cross reference chart any where that will tell me what fits what? I don't want to buy any wheels that are a major production to install. I do want to get rid of the laced wheels and tube type tires. The owner of the wheels told me that they are from a 1976-1980 KZ1000. Any help on whether these will fit on my CSR will be appreciated.

The rear wheel with the disk brake is an easy swap. THe front wheel on your 81 has a differnt axle, spacers and brake rotor and maybe even the rotor spacing and diameter. Not saying its imposible but the front would not be bolt on.

Thank you for the information. If they are not a bolt on, I do not want them. I will get new stainless steel spokes and have the stockers re-laced.

If you can get these wheels cheap you might want to go ahead for resell or use them to barter. Roy
