I replaced the stock handlebar on my bike and tried to replace the broken clutch cable with one from Motion Pro. However, it turned out that the cable is a bit too long for the clutch lever on this handle bar. The cable is 54.5 inches with 3.5 inch slack. I measured the length from the clutch lever to the clutch following the usual path along the frame to be around 46 inches. It does look like MotionPro makes cables that are 48.5 inches and 50.5 inches long with the same 3.5 inch slack. Can one of you pros recommend the one to choose among the two options. I know I can order custom cables but I would rather not wait that long. Thanks in advance for your help.

Pictures of the Bars, and set up might get some in put from the guys.
but I would have the cable set up normally, then disconnect it at the lever, holding along side, possibly zip tie it, then rotate through the steering full sweep. Adjust till it all looks good. Place a marker there where the length looks right, then take it off and measure. Get a slightly longer than shorter as you don't want it to bind when steering.

Thanks y'all but I realized I was doing the clutch adjustment incorrectly. As someone suggested here, the instructions for doing this are incorrect. I have the clutch cable installed now with the right slack and all!
