Great idea Old Man Rock, that's probably how I'll work it. Thanks!

Since you already have pods why not finish cleaning up that area and leave it open? The only reason I'm not doing that is I want to keep the airbox and it's ugly exposed.

This was my brainstorm idea for the top two tabs. Lower middle tab will have to be fab'ed from something else. Let me know what ya think!

I'll be back down in Daytona a week from now. Excited to start tinkering. I'll definetly post up the results.
Oh and damarble - I thought about it, leaving the sides exposed and all, but I felt it just wasn't my style. All of my vehicles I've had (cj7 jeep and my camaro) have been "modified stock" in appearance and performance. I've always liked those results.
I picked up some wicked aftmk side panels. Deep blue but they pop very nicely. They came with kz1000/zr-1 badging. Since this bike " is what it is " I think it will work great. No it's not a zr-1 but hell, it looks good to me - the owner
