Don't know if i put this question in right forum but here it is.
I have a 76 kz 900 ltd that needs a battery went to a couple local part stores and they asked if it is a,b,c . I have now clue engine and frame say z1. how do you tell what it is. Thanks for any input.

If it's an LTD, the frame number would start with KZ900B.
If it starts with a Z1F and the number is over 85700, it's a KZ900A model.
Does the bike have a drum or disk rear brake?
Assuming it's a KZ900 (regardless of whether it's a standard model or the LTD) the battery you need is a YB10L-A2 or 12N10-3A-2
