kz750 stem head was created by DBINWI
Recently picked up a 750 twin. The front wheel alignment is off a little bit- that is to say going down the road staight the bars have to be slightly to the right. Question -- do I loosen the triple tree and stem head bearing to realign this ?

First check that the bars are not bent. Next loosen the "bar holders" at both the handlebar and below the upper triple. Tighten those back to spec, then if needed loosen the fork tube clamp bolts, the stem bearing adjustment bolt and rings, the fender mount bolts and the axle clamp bolts. Tighten these all back to spec. If things are still not right, take a look at the rear wheel allignment. If things are still not right the fork tubes may be bent.
