if u r not racing, my advice would be to leave it as is.

Les,

The ZRX offset in the triples is about 28.25mm center to center as best as I can measure.

i have a zrx12 rear and a 96 zx9 front end. my rake is stock, but with my current mods the rake is 24* i have had it at the road race track and it is stable. it will never turn like a modern bike though, too long, too wide, and too much weight at the rear.
i have a cbr6 track only bike. i have the rear up about 1" and the front down a 1/4" . rake is about 22.5* . its on the verg of understeering.

That is fantastic information, thanks for the feedback. I'll mock up he suspension and compare to those numbers and my other two bikes for comparison. Will probable leave the stem tube alone.
