I've always run Avon RoadRiders on my Z, with good results in dry weather, mixed in wet. Now that I've changed the wheels to 2.15x18 front, 3.50x18 rear, I can't find the sizes I want in a matching front/rear set. So I'm looking at Battlax BT016's in 110/80 and 160/60 respectively. Their website uses words like "Hypersports" and "Superior" to describe them, but anybody run them? Anybody run them in the rain? Not super worried about mileage.

I'm not that good of a rider, I'll admit, and I've got front tire grip fears. I've also slid the front out on my Z with the Avon, and dropped another bike due to gravel, twice. I could at least get the frame to flex enough to freak myself out on a consistent basis, before I braced it and changed the suspension.

Oh, and yes, those sizes will fit.

I have only read good reviews on the Battlax tires, never any problems. Have not tried any yet, didn't have them at my local shop last time.

I have BT45s on my Seca Turbo and plan to put them on my KZ650 soon. My buddy runs them on his CBX and Seca Turbo. From all indications this are very good tires.

Thanks guys, kinda what I figured. They aren't cheap, but that's usually a sign they're worth it.

And yes, after measuring everything, a 160 should fit in the GS1100 swingarm with a 530 conversion and slightly offset sprockets.
