I need an M7 90mm bolt, preferably with a hex head on it. Any suggestions?

In M7s McMasters longest screw is 50mm. In M6 they go up to 150mm and in M8 to 200mm. No one seems to make long M7s though.
I was hoping to avoid a helicoil or timesert, but I think I'm out of luck.

No, there's not room for a 8mm bolt.

You had a lot more luck with Google than I did. I'll check that out. Thanks!

If it won't fit the 7mm die without taking off some of the thread, I'd put the 8mm bolt in a lathe and turn it down a hair or put it in a drill press and run a file on it while it's spinning. Once it's the right dia. you can cut the 7mm thread easily.
Just my 2 cents...

The BMW part ramtough_63 found actually looks perfect. I'll call the local dealership on Monday and if they can't get it, it looks like there are plenty of suppliers online.
