So I was installing some new clips and I snapped the 8x40 Hex Head bolt on the right side of my triple tree. Checking the net, an OEM one will cost $6.36 plus shipping... I happened to be at Home Depot looking for parts for a DIY seat/frame attachment (I'm currently using industrial velcro and it works darn good), as seen here:

When I happened to think "Why not check around here for a bolt!" And blam-o, $0.76:
The only difference I've noticed is that the size of the head on the new one is a bit larger (requiring a diff socket size), threads fit just fine. You'll also notice on the non-broken one it looks like someone used some kind of metal compound/there's metal in the thread.
