some with 35 tooth final drive sprocket on USA models;
and 33 tooth final drive sprocket on UK models.
To convert 630 sprocket to 530 sprocket, multiply number of 630 teeth by 6/5 to derive 530 teeth equivalency.
For example, a 15 tooth 650 = 18 tooth 530
The math: 15 X 6/5 = 18
33 tooth 650 = 39.6 tooth 530 (or say 40 tooth 530)
35 tooth 650 = 42 tooth 530
To convert 530 sprocket to 630 sprocket, multiply number of 530 teeth by 5/6 to derive 630 teeth equivalency.
For example, a 40 tooth 530 = 33.33 tooth 630 (or say 33 tooth 650)
40 x 5/6 = 33.33
An 18 tooth 530 = 15 tooth 630
18 x 5/6 = 15
Chain length:
630 pitch = 3/4" 86 link 630 86 x .75 = 64.5" 86 x 3/4 = 64.5"
530 pitch = 5/8" 104 link 530 104 x .625 = 65 104 x 5/8 = 65"
Quick estimate:
Multiply number of 630 links by 1.2 for equivalent approximate number of 530 links
Example -- what length 530 needed to replace 650 with 86 links?
The math: 86 x 1.2 = 103.2
103 link 530 is about the same length as an 86 link 630.
The math: 92 x 1.2 = 110.4 (or say 110)
110 link 530 is about the same as a 92 link 630.

I too did all the math and thought I had it right but guess what I didn't I started with 16/38 then 16/42 then 17/42 and I ended up with 17/46. That combo for me is really a good compromise of low end, cruise and high end.
What were teeth counts on the stock 630 sprockets?
