When you had the wheel off did you replace the wheel bearings? If so, maybe one is not seated all the way? Ed

Ya I did replace them. Guess ill dig farther. Does anyone know how I can jack rear of bike up. My header dosent allow room all the wsy under bike. Can I jack it up near swingarm?

I've used tie down straps and hung my buddies yzf600 from my garage rafters before to take both wheel assemblies off.

1980 LTD 1000..,1976 LTD 900, have the 1000&900 now. the rest are previous= 1978 KZ 650 B.., 1980 Yamaha XT 500..,1978 Yamaha DT 400.., 1977 Yamaha yz 80..,Honda trail ct 70.., Honda QA 50...5-1/2 hp brigs & straton CAT chopper mini bike...3-1/2 hp mini bike (WHEN GAS WAS ABOUT 45 CENTS A GALLON)!!!!

rear wheel swingarm (paddle lift),stand, not spool lift, unless your bike has spools

If you still have the center stand it will hold the rear wheel off the ground. Ed

Play it safe and pull the header off then you don't have to worry

I officially feel like an idiot lol. The spacers are backwards. Looking more at the parts diagram cleared everything up. I think what I will do is come up with some sort of 2x2 or something with the finger lift and ratchet strap bike to lift. I am afraid of bike tipping over. Thanks everyone for your help. Guess it pays to gain knowledge
