I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

I have a set of spoke rims with new tires I believe are from a 81 CSR1000 that came with the 81 KZ1000 LTD that I purchased a while ago, question is, can I install these rims on my 78 KZ1000 LTD? as the mag wheels on my 78 still have original tires, and dont trust them.

Rear, yes if you use the caliper that came on the CSR. Front not so easy. The rotors are different and you would need the whole front end off the CSR or you would have to do some fabrication.

Thanks for reply, I guess I will put them up for sale and buy new tires with money, sound easier.
