But it always seems to get contaminated.
I believe most call for changing the brake fluid every two years, but few do.

One of the first things i notice about any bike i see is how the fluid looks, it tells me alot about the care and experience the owner posesses, the shit caked chain is another pet peeve of mine....
I date a new bottle of fluid and it has a max life span of one year as im in the desert.

I remember something about opened containers of brake fluid going bad.650ed wrote: I change it every 2 years and use a new bottle each time because in 2 years the old bottle will have absorbed moisture - even though the cap was tight. Ed
