Quick swingarm assistance??? was created by Dabangs
I found 2 swingarms on craigslist for cheap, only question I have is which one would be better to get? One from a 02 GSXR or one from a 07-08 CBR 600 RR? I have pics of both and your help would be greatly appreciated before I buy something I can't use. I would prefer to get the CBR on because it comes with the shock, just not sure if it would work with my 82 KZ750N

I prefer the looks of the suzuki arm myself, and I know theyre really close dimension wise in pivot area so they just need shims.
This is a late 90s gsxr 750 arm I modified for one of my turbo projects with 3" extensions and dual shock mounts built into them before welding

Well further inspection of the GXSR swing arm it looks like I would have to weld some tabs for my existing shocks and I was prefering to go with a monoshock set up

Sure you can run a mono shock, but theres a lot more fab work involved to make it work.
Personally Im just a :woohoo: sucker a sucker for old tech dinosaur stuff like dual shocks!

The first swingarm is from a 99 gsxr 600 it would be a better fit for your kz frame, just 2 pivot bolt reducer spacers and weld some shock mounts and your good.

I am thinking I might agree with you, plus the guy only wants $20 for the GSXR swingarm
