So in an effort to change things up a little on my wife's little gpz, I want to be able to use standard tubular handle bars in place of the oem cast devices. Can I swap out the upper triple clamp on the gpz with one from a kz? Thanks in advance for your help. Paul
Sorry. Just now realize this was posted in engine section not chassis section! Oops!

I've drilled the top triple tree for risers, then used tubular bars.

if you have a 750r1 the top tree from a 1984 kz700 and a 1982 750L3 will work. im going to do to do the same on mine once i find one.
what you can do is go to the kawasaki site and cross reference the lower tree part number and see what other models use it and go from there.
