82 750 csr forks was created by Daryl
Hello all, I'm rebuilding the forks on a 750 csr. I have a manual on the way (supposedly) and I've also looked through the the online manual that some have posted on here. I am a bit confused as to the level of oil to use. For assy, it says to use 175-185cc of oil (no reference of spring in or out, pg 105), and to change fork oil, it says to use 171-180cc and the level should be 396mm from the top of the tube (again, no mention of spring in or out, pg 167). I know that the spring is usually out for the measurement but the oil change procedures could be construed as spring in. So, my question is, are there any of you that have a hard copy of said manual that wouldn't mind taking a quick look and letting me know what your thoughts are? I also can't seem to find how much air pressure to put in after assy is complete for a 275lb rider. Thanks in advance for any help.

Also not sure if I should be measuring with the fork extended or compressed. I would imagine it should be extended, but it doesn't say.

For everyone else, the KZ750 CSR is a 750 twin.

It is probably forks collapsed and spring removed like the B model twins.

The 175-185 cc is a starting point, always go with the actual distance measure.

Thanks, I called the Kawi dealer and they told me to just follow the manual. I told them the manual I had didn't specify. So, I thought it best to ask you guys.
